Battle of Saratoga
The Battle of Saratoga is known as the Turning point of the War.
Burgoyne's army was running out of supplies, and it needed horses because there were no supplies coming from ships.
The general sent a raiding party into Vermont to get more supplies.
While on their way to Vermont, The raiding party, sent by the Burgoyne, encountered New England troops.
The New England troops defeated them BIG TIME at the Battle of Bennington on August 16, 1777. << Fail
